Senior product engineer
Comfortable across the stack, Cloudflare Workers + Durable Objects + D1, vanilla-JS PWA, Postgres-on-Neon. Cares more about correctness than novelty. Reads diffs the way some people read poetry.
VitaLog is run by one person right now and isn't actively hiring. But if you read what we're building and your first thought was "I'd love to work on that", we'd genuinely like to hear from you.
There's no formal job board because there are no formal jobs yet. When VitaLog grows beyond solo, we'd start with these archetypes, in roughly this order.
Comfortable across the stack, Cloudflare Workers + Durable Objects + D1, vanilla-JS PWA, Postgres-on-Neon. Cares more about correctness than novelty. Reads diffs the way some people read poetry.
Endocrinology, exercise physiology, or biostatistics background. Can read PubMed at speed, write copy that's both correct and readable, and design study protocols that pass IRB.
Reads every email, answers every question. Distinguishes "user wants a feature" from "user is describing a bug they don't have words for." Has the patience to make documentation that doesn't suck.
Sweden HQ on paper, but the work is async-first. As long as overlap with CET is workable, where you live is your business.
Harm reduction. Sovereignty over health data. Evidence over hype. If those don't pull at you, neither will we.
No VC, no growth-at-all-costs deadline. Donations + opt-in research-program participation fund the runway. Slow and steady beats fast and dishonest.
Even though we're not hiring, the right introduction at the right moment changes timelines. If your background fits one of the archetypes above, or you've got something else we haven't thought of, send a short note + portfolio / GitHub / publications.
Don't include a CV. Tell us what you've built or studied that you're proudest of, why VitaLog specifically, and what you'd want to work on. We read every one.
