What is VitaLog?
VitaLog is the comprehensive fitness, peptide, and bloodwork tracker, a progressive web app that combines a 330-compound pharmacokinetic engine, a TRT and cycle tracker, AI-driven bloodwork trend detection, workout logging, nutrition journaling, and zero-knowledge encrypted progress-photo sync. Every feature works offline; every cloud sync is end-to-end encrypted. There are no ads, no paid tiers, no data sales, ever.
Unlike general fitness apps (MyFitnessPal, Hevy, Cronometer, Strong) that focus on calories and reps, VitaLog adds the layer most serious athletes, TRT patients, and peptide users are missing: clinical-grade pharmacology. Simulate testosterone cypionate steady-state Cmax and Cmin before your next injection. Calculate Vermeulen (1999) free testosterone from total T, SHBG, and albumin. Model semaglutide weekly troughs against published data. Detect a rising AST/ALT ratio before your next lab draw. Every compound entry cites PubMed sources.
Features at a glance
Peptide & compound dose calculator
Reconstitution math (mg/mL, IU, mL), draw-volume guidance, vial-life tracking. Supports peptides, anabolic-androgenic steroids, SERMs, aromatase inhibitors, GH secretagogues, and GLP-1 agonists.
Pharmacokinetic (PK) simulator
One-compartment Bateman, two-compartment distribution (for testosterone suspension), and biphasic absorption models. Visualize serum levels across a cycle, compare ester half-lives, and plan PCT timing from terminal t½ and HPG recovery kinetics.
Bloodwork trend intelligence
Age- and sex-indexed reference ranges. Automatic detection of rising, falling, or persistently-out-of-range markers. Urgent alerts when hematocrit crosses 54% (blood donation threshold). AST/ALT ratio interpretation. Marker-specific clinical context (e.g., falling SHBG is expected on AAS; rising prolactin suggests considering P5P).
Zero-knowledge progress photos
Chunked client-side AES-256-GCM encryption with a key the server never sees. Cross-device sync works after you log in with the same password (or a separate photo passphrase for OAuth accounts). We cannot decrypt, share, or produce plaintext, even under subpoena.
Real-time multi-device sync
Edit on your phone, see it instantly on desktop. Cloudflare Durable Objects + WebSocket + CRDT merge engine resolve concurrent edits deterministically. No polling, no lost data.
TRT & cycle tracking
Daily, weekly, and monthly schedules with injection-site rotation, dose-adherence streaks, and cycle-phase visualizations. Supports any ester, oral, AI, or SERM protocol.
Vermeulen free-T calculator
Computes free and bioavailable testosterone from total T (ng/dL), SHBG (nmol/L), and albumin (g/dL) using the Vermeulen 1999 quadratic. Validated against (600, 30, 4.3) → 11.5 ng/dL free T.
Workout & nutrition logging
Sets, reps, RPE, PR detection, 1RM estimation. USDA FoodData Central + OpenFoodFacts for nutrition lookups. Micronutrient tracking. Offline barcode scan.
Offline-first progressive web app
Install to home screen on iPhone, Android, Windows, macOS, or Linux. Every feature, calculator, PK simulator, journal, bloodwork, workouts, nutrition, works 100% offline. IndexedDB + Service Worker under the hood.
Frequently asked questions
- What is VitaLog?
- VitaLog is a free progressive web app that combines a peptide and compound dose calculator, pharmacokinetic simulator, TRT and cycle tracker, bloodwork trend analyzer, workout logger, and nutrition journal into one zero-knowledge-encrypted tool. It covers 330 compounds with citable PubMed-sourced pharmacology, works fully offline, and syncs across devices.
- Is VitaLog free?
- Yes. VitaLog is completely free to use with no ads, no paid tiers, no third-party trackers. Core features, calculator, tracking, bloodwork trends, photo sync, multi-device real-time sync, are all included.
- How does VitaLog calculate peptide doses?
- The calculator takes your vial size (mg), reconstitution volume (mL of bacteriostatic water), target dose (mcg or mg), and syringe size (IU or mL), and returns the exact draw volume along with a pharmacokinetic simulation of serum levels over time. It supports one-compartment (Bateman), two-compartment, and biphasic-absorption models.
- Can I use VitaLog to track TRT?
- Yes. VitaLog was specifically designed for TRT tracking. It models testosterone cypionate, enanthate, propionate, phenylpropionate, undecanoate, and suspension kinetics, computes steady-state Cmax/Cmin and AUC, visualizes bloodwork trends (total T, free T, estradiol, SHBG, albumin, hematocrit, hemoglobin), flags hematocrit approaching the 54% donation threshold, and calculates Vermeulen free testosterone from your labs.
- How does VitaLog protect my data?
- Data is local-first: by default, nothing leaves your device. Optional cloud sync is end-to-end encrypted, your state is encrypted client-side with AES-256-GCM before upload. Progress photos are zero-knowledge: chunked, encrypted with a key we never see, and stored as ciphertext on our servers. Even under legal subpoena, we cannot produce plaintext photos.
- Does VitaLog work offline?
- Yes, fully. VitaLog is a progressive web app with a service worker and IndexedDB storage. Every feature (calculator, PK simulator, journal, bloodwork, workouts, nutrition) works 100% offline. Once installed to your home screen, it behaves like a native app.
- What compounds does VitaLog support?
- 330 compounds with PubMed-cited pharmacology: testosterones, nandrolones, boldenone, masteron, primobolan, trenbolone, trestolone, oral 17-alpha-alkylateds (anavar, winstrol, dianabol, anadrol, tbol, proviron, halotestin), aromatase inhibitors (anastrozole, exemestane, letrozole), SERMs (tamoxifen, clomiphene, raloxifene), GLP-1 agonists (semaglutide, tirzepatide, retatrutide), growth-hormone secretagogues (CJC-1295, ipamorelin, sermorelin, MK-677), and research peptides (BPC-157, TB-500, MOTS-c, GHK-Cu, melanotan II, epitalon). Each entry includes half-life, ester kinetics, Cmax/Tmax, clinical reference ranges, and citations.
- How is VitaLog different from MyFitnessPal, Hevy, or Cronometer?
- Those apps cover general nutrition and workout logging. VitaLog includes all of that plus a pharmacokinetic engine, a 330-compound reference database with citable half-lives and Cmax data, TRT-specific bloodwork intelligence, Vermeulen free-T calculation, PCT planning, and zero-knowledge encrypted photo sync. It's designed for users who want clinical-grade analysis alongside everyday fitness logging, in one app with no ads and no third-party trackers.
- Does VitaLog give medical advice?
- No. VitaLog is an educational and harm-reduction tool. It presents pharmacokinetic data, reference ranges, and your own tracked metrics. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any decision about medication, supplements, or health management.
- How does VitaLog analyze bloodwork trends?
- The bloodwork engine flags rising or falling markers across panels (≥10% change, monotonic), detects persistently-high values (≥2 of last 3 panels above reference), fires urgent alerts when hematocrit exceeds 54%, analyzes AST/ALT ratio, and surfaces marker-specific context, for example, falling SHBG on AAS is expected while rising prolactin suggests considering P5P or cabergoline. All reference ranges are age- and sex-indexed.
- Can I export my data?
- Yes. VitaLog exports all your data as a single JSON file, GDPR Article 20 data portability. You can re-import on any device or archive locally. No proprietary format, no lock-in.
- Does VitaLog support GLP-1 agonists like semaglutide and tirzepatide?
- Yes. VitaLog models semaglutide, tirzepatide, and retatrutide pharmacokinetics with subcutaneous one-compartment kinetics, computes weekly dose schedules, simulates serum trough concentration at steady state, and tracks injection-site rotation.
- Is VitaLog safe to use on a shared device?
- VitaLog supports biometric lock (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello) and offers a "Clear local health data on logout" prompt specifically for shared-device use. The photo-encryption key is wiped from memory on logout so the next user cannot access your photos. Session tokens are HttpOnly and SameSite-protected.
- Does VitaLog work on iPhone and Android?
- Yes. VitaLog is a PWA, add it to your home screen from Safari on iOS or Chrome on Android and it runs like a native app. All features work identically across iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Can I sync photos and data across multiple devices?
- Yes. Real-time multi-device sync uses WebSocket Durable Objects and CRDT merge logic to resolve concurrent edits deterministically. Photos are end-to-end encrypted with a per-user AES-256-GCM key, for password accounts, the key is wrapped under your account password; for OAuth accounts, you set a separate photo passphrase in Settings. Either way, we never see plaintext.
